Pediatric dentistry is unique in that it encompasses all areas of oral health care for children, including restorative care (including dentistry therapy and prosthetics), minor oral surgical procedures, and interceptive orthodontics. Thus, unusual eating habits, wrong tooth structures, and tooth alignment throughout their youth will be addressed by contacting a paediatric dental practitioner on a regular basis to avoid improper tooth alignment. This also includes teaching parents on nutritious diets for their children.
