Dental Imaging

Dental Imaging: Imaging in Dentistry generally involves the Digital Radiography and Digital Dentistry which works like the principle of Common X-ray imaging. The types of Dental Radiographs are periapical, panoramic and cephalometric where the small x-ray films are placed between the teeth. 2-Dimensional images are used commonly but since the depth of the structures are not identified 3-Dimensional images are preferred nowadays which gives the accurate measurement of the depth and width of the teeth.
