Dental Imaging

Dental Imaging: Imaging in Dentistry generally involves the Digital Radiography which like the principle of Common X-ray imaging. The types of Dental Radiographs are periapical, panoramic and cephalometric where the small x-ray films are placed between the teeth. 2-Dimensional images are used commonly but since the depth of the structures are not identified 3D images are preferred nowadays which gives the accurate measurement of the depth and width of the tooth.
